Thursday Update: Rain Breaks This Weekend
Good morning. It has been an old fashioned rainy week. In fact, with summer starting tomorrow, it has been a very rainy spring. This is all attributed to high pressure over the poles and Greenland causing the jet stream to buckle over our area. The result is frequent rounds of unsettled weather like we saw this week. Winter weather fans this is what we need to see in the winter! Too bad the pattern came too late this year.
Today is more of the same with rounds of rain...
By tomorrow afternoon things clear the sun comes out and and we have a beautiful weekend on tap with high pressure in control..
Humidity will be low and temperatures will be in the 70's to low 80s in spots. It will literally be a perfect weekend.
For next week, I do not see any consistent rain events just few chances of showers and storms with conditions warming up a little.
