Monday April 29th: Look At Week Ahead

Good Morning everyone. This week will start off today damp and wet with temperatures in the 50's. Expect some showers spreading into our area as the day progresses, but nothing in terms of a washout. The cool temps and cloudy conditions will last into Tuesday and should finally break by Wednesday. Expect things to clear up by mid-week and temps to rise into the low 60's as high pressure try's to reenter the area. I think at this point Thursday looks to be the nicest day of the week with temps in the mid to high 60's.

A first look at our weekend weather looks promising as well with seasonable conditions, mostly sunny to partly cloudy skis..temps in the 60's.

May will start off a little unsettled in general as a large area of upper level energy will sit over the central part of the united states at times throwing some moisture into our region and keeping temps cool for the central to western part of the country. Some folks might even see snow in those parts of the country due to the cold air it will pull down. In terms of thunderstorms, no threats on the horizon in the foreseeable future.

A closer look at the weekend weather coming later this week. Thanks for checking in.
